Every year, we review our processes and exchange ideas with colleagues and like-minded people – always with the aim of reducing our CO2 emissions, increasing the proportion of food from local suppliers and improving the working conditions for our entire team.
We chose the GSTC certification above all because of its international relevance. All previously acquired certificates focussed almost exclusively on CO2 emissions. However, the sustainable relationship with our home country, employees and suppliers is also very important to us.
Diego does a great job with his audits. Perhaps a prior online meeting (in our case before the start of the season, i.e. March/April) would be desirable, in which the points that have been criticised or newly introduced can be discussed (again). This would then speed up the annual audit.
