Parlateci della sostenibilità, su cosa siete bravi?

The hotel’s sustainability commitment is aligned with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a national sustainability movement that seeks to rally bold and collective action to achieve a long-term net-zero emissions to build a sustainable future as well as the Hotel Sustainability Roadmap launched in March 2022.

With that, Grand Hyatt Singapore has been pioneering sustainable initiatives since 2002. The journey has seen the hotel achieving waste and water reduction, better utilisation of resources, and providing guests with greater value through sustainable dining and wellness. Over the years, the hotel has been recognised for its efforts from multiple government organisations such as the National Environmental Agency, Singapore Environmental Council and Building and Construction Authority.

Perché la certificazione GSTC?

The GSTC certification establishes and manages global sustainable standards. The certification represents the pinnacle of assurance and credibility as a sustainable hotel.

At Grand Hyatt Singapore, we recognise the importance of sustainability, aligning with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 as well as employing “Hyatt EcoTrack” to meticulously monitor sustainability metrics, which include greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and recycling.

Additionally, the GSTC certification is recommended by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA). This certification has not only enforced Grand Hyatt Singapore’s commitment to responsible practices but also aligned our efforts in operational efficiency, reduction in its environmental footprint, and improved guest experiences.
